Vitamin C — Acts as a natural dechlorinating agent. It reacts with chlorine in tap water and neutralizes it, which is the core mechanism that protects skin and hair from chlorine related dryness, irritation and oxidative damage.

Plant Extract Essential Oil — Provides the natural fragrance released during the shower. Depending on the plant source, it can also carry mild aromatherapy or skin soothing properties, but its main role here is scent.

Calcium Sulfate — A mineral compound that works alongside vitamin C, helping stabilize and enhance the chlorine neutralizing reaction inside the filter.

Snail Mucus Extract — A skincare ingredient known for its hydrating and skin conditioning properties. It's commonly used in K-beauty products for helping skin retain moisture and feel smoother.

PP Cotton (Polypropylene Cotton) Filter — A physical filtration layer made of polypropylene fibers. It mechanically traps larger sediment, rust particles and debris from the water as it passes through.

Cobweb Filter — A finer mesh like filtration layer (its fibrous structure resembles a spiderweb, hence the name) that catches smaller particles and impurities the PP cotton layer might miss, giving a second stage of physical filtration.

Together, the PP cotton and cobweb layers handle physical filtration, while vitamin C and calcium sulfate handle chemical filtration (chlorine neutralization) and the plant extract oil and snail mucus extract add the sensorial and skin care layer on top.

Start by unscrewing your existing shower head from the arm. Screw the Pétale filter directly onto the arm, then reattach your shower head on top of the filter. Run the water for a few seconds before your first shower to clear any initial residue. For best results, replace the filter every two to three months or after roughly 8,000 liters of use. You'll notice the internal dye fade as a signal that it's time for a new one.
